As well, msm / gay men of a certain generation suffered a huge loss and seemingly overnight artists, brothers, lovers, community leaders, advocates and healers had all died or became chronically ill. This changed peoples lives forever, yet in many cases this trauma still remains unresolved.
Many who were left behind have been working over the years to try to fill the still seemingly empty void.
Part of my helping to put the pieces back together included obtaining expertise specific for gay men and people who have hiv / aids including issues of loss, aging and living / thriving with chronic illness.
A knowledgeable therapist or counselor can prove to be beneficial as part of a healing team of nurses and physicians for those with chronic illness. Further, I also assist men both gay and straight with relationship issues and can assist you on the road to recovery and reclamation.
