Thank you for visiting my website.  My name is Spencer.
As a potential client I wanted to give you an introduction of who I am and speak to how I may be able to help you on  your journey.  I have spent most of my life intentionally working towards gathering knowledge, training and experiences that now offers me the capacity to help others on their life journey.

I practice eclectic therapy,  individual and couples therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, strength - based therapy, brief solution - focused therapy and counselling and any combination of these treatment modalities. I come from an anti-oppression  model and my goal is to help you pay attention to the present moment(s) based on reality - based indicators and intention. Methods used in my therapeutic approach are always agreed to by the client based upon their need.  I have a vast tool kit of knowledge resources with which to gently address the requirements for a client.  Our sessions would always be integrative, mutually safe, client focused and comfortable. I work from a generalist, sex-positive and anti-racism lens.

I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and I am honoured that I've been able to help people.  I also enjoy working as an image /  text artist, exercising / biking / boxing, eating healthy and generally living with an eye towards moderation, fitness and balance. I was a full-time single parent for many years of a boy named Raven who is now in his 20's and experiencing his own life journey in a good way.

While continually actively involved in my community, I also keep current and upgrade my skills by attending professional workshops and / or obtaining formal development training.  Recent professional development activities include training at the Hincks-Dellcrest  Centre in Toronto,  OSWSSW  - Mindfulness Based Approaches, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (Anxiety, Depression and PTSD)  to name a few.   I follow strict legal and professional ethical guidelines especially as it pertains to respect and confidentiality.

My client based expertise includes msm / men who are affected by chronic illness either themselves or their partners, among many other male specific issues.

Another client based specialty  includes the creative / gifted  including Actors, Writers, and Artists.

As an Artist and graduate of the Ontario College of  Art and Design and as a member of Canadian Actors Equity Association, I've found myself to be particularly adept at helping the creative

I am also uniquely adept at helping athletes as well as the gifted individual.

I  can be a valuable member as part of  your over all well-being commitment.

Thank you.
